This iconic Grade II listed building was acquired to restore its original Georgian charm. Previously operating as a pub, the building and interior had become tired and had lost its grandeur over the years.
In order to breathe a new lease of life into this building it underwent a full restoration including an extension to the kitchen, re-instating original features such as the elliptical staircase, ceiling roses and a plethora of other architectural details. Additionally, large windows allow an abundance of natural light to fill the space which enabled the use of bold, rich paint colours and a mix of warm and cool tones in furnishings created balance.
Showcasing Crest’s Vele Visage, where the straight lengths of fixed seating, complemented by side chairs in the same style, redefine the concept of formal dining within the cozy snug. Circular booths in Hemingway Clover Leaf provide an inviting seating arrangement for groups, which are nestled next to the parlour palms and elegant brass overhanging pendants. Additionally, numerous dining chairs in Shelly Suffolk Blue adorn various dining spaces across both floors of the venue.
Significantly, the designers have created a sophisticated, vibrant venue which is sympathetic to the buildings history and character.
